Melville Beach, WA, AU.  Nice to meet you Flatchat and also put a face to Scott who I guess is SRS73 who I guess I'm making work harder as PB's are obviously easier to get for a newbie.    Ignored the knee today and apart from a few dodgy left turns where it didn't want to play ball it was fine on the water.   Tide was a bit shallow over the sand bar when I started so the first hour or so in the deeper choppy water. Wind kept improving so headed for the flatter water over the sandbar and 'just' made it over.    Was great fun and also nice sailing knowing who a few fellow team members are.  Probably could have stayed out longer as the wind was good but didn't want to push the knee too much.   120 Tabou Rocket, 6.7 RRD Move, 33 Choco weed. 

Very nice, very gusty Melville.  Lots of Pinnaroos out there on the sandbank doing their best.  I had my "new" board JP 54 Race Slalom (tiny but goes very well), 5 metre Mach3 and 23 cm weed fin.  Good to see all the young guns gunning.  I did my quickest ever at Melville today.

Pinnaroo Pt 4.2m, 65cm wing, bit too windy really but still had some fun. First full session on just the smaller wing.

Started off at Point Walter, tide was low-ish and wind direction right for Wally world. Headed back to Melville which was also a lot of fun.

wow, that was windier then expected. Started on the big kit and eventullay ended up on the medium board wishing I had brought the smaller board. Good to finally meet Reg and Flex. Quite a few Pinnas out today and the usual speedhounds that lurk at Melville.  Another top Melvile day.

My alpha compass was off today, I had some high 23s, but they were well outside of proximity.  It felt like there was a bit more south in the breeze, so the markers I use as a guide were a bit off.

Other than that I had a really fun sesh.

I was orginally gonna go foiling today, but when I saw it gusting 25K+ on the river I thought 'Yeh nah, I'm gonna get spanked!'

So I missioned home after work and swapped out the foil kit for the slapper.
