Grabbed a rock climb in the morning with Chriso and then a sail so top day overall - good to get out enjoying fun and friendship. Little disappointed in the speeds as thought I nailed a couple down the bank but still choppy. Bit of wild one with 15-30 knots in the end - almost had a collision with Shane and glad we saved our bacon with some evasive action - good war story mate.

1006 days ago 2 categories   A better Westerly today compared to yesterday. Filled in nicely around 3pm with kiters and sailboarders a plenty on the water. Almost cleaned up one of our very own Pursuit team members on a starboard run; just scraped past each other at the last moment without colliding. That certainly added some excitement to the afternoon! Great to be out on the water in such lit up conditions, so tried to line up some extra downwind runs, but just too much water traffic about, making it extremely hazzardous on runs to avoid kiters, fellow sailboarders and the odd turtle.
