Melville Beach, WA, AU Was looking like it might be a repeat of yesterday with just more Boz so rigged the same.  First run was the best then the wind eased off to cruisy conditions.  My mates the ducks were back feasting on the snotty weed not heeding my fly bys.  iSonic97, 7mSvR8, FF22(18).

Quick session at Peli on the Windtech 72SB + 7.0 EzzyLion, 33 Tribal SpdWd. Sailed upwind to Melvile and dropped in to say hi to Slowie & Boz. Contrary to what Boz told me, the wind was NOT northerly and I managed to get back down to Peli after a sketchy downwind run. It started to drop out but after I derigged it booted again when I got back to Peli.

Gathered it wasn't as windy as yesterday and was very shifty today but still fun with the flexinator, slowone, jasper, the travelling duo and Ben on the water.

Looked good when I got there, Boz came in and said he had a 35 so game on! Except that the wind died and went yellow on SB pretty much as I got on the water. Yeah I was underpowered and it got patchier, with some big wind shifts on the wrong tack. I did one run pinching- all the way to the other side of the river, found a gust for 36 on the dial in the ferry channel, then pinching back the wind swung the other way, and despite 5km sailing upwind, I ended up 100m downwind of where I started... doh! Found just one OK gust for 35.5 10 sec and 37.4 max, but no more gusts and had to finish with lowly 32s in the 5x10.

Well it was good for an hour and a half before I hit the water... I keep making the same mistake. (going to work ).
