A nice morning sail from Attadale foreshore on a decent NE'er. Joined by Windxtasy, Recycle, and Obi-one-loves-the-new-board-Tobi. Spent the whole day on Nortos Naughty-mile Nestle which has a nice feel and potential for some great runs. Could have used some more wind (was probably 18-22) but happy with the result all up, was aiming for the magic 30 and nailed it. Stoked! Great morning in good company!

Got in between Point Walter and Melville. First time there. A vey nice spot.

I think I saw Anita swhooshing around, otherwise only a 2-3 windsufers and a few kiters.

115L, 7.5m

I had a few scary runs today, and still only 24.96 top speed. This is the third time I got that top speed.
My GPS stinks like a pair of unwashed  socks...Frown

Point Walter, WA, AU  85 Sonic, 28 vector then 32, 5.8 Koncept      av 20 knots

Best sail I've had in ages. Rigged on the strength of Seabreeze graphs as I was leaving home but was underdone. Should have started with the bigger board, bigger fin and bigger sail.

Surprised to find I'd almost scored a distance PB. If only I'd realised I would have done another run. I only stopped because my feet were numb!

Edit: Aaargh! Just checked my PB's to discover I missed my distance PB by only 20 metres! If only I'd sailed back to the carpark where the rest of you were I would have got it! Tempting to put on all the wet gear and go out again... I could just put on the GPS and run up and down... Laughing Oh well, at least a nm PB to make up for it. That was a surprise.

Obelix, you should have let us know you were coming down so we could have met up.

I went shopping on the way home looking like someone who just stepped off an icefield. That water is getting colder by the day!

Congratulations on the PB Anita. Me going there was a spur of the moment. Saw your car near that fence, but thought the wind was better a bit more towards Attadale, so I rigged up there.

With a consistent wind, I was certain I would get a nm PB, but I missed on that too Cry

I saw a guy in a hat sailing something that looked like loft  who may have been Toby.
There was a guy with a white sail out there. Snake?

I was parked at Pt Walter near the boat ramp. You were probably in the best spot though. The wind dropped off going west toward the kiters area and beyond.

Woohoo! Windxtasy, nice PB!

Sorry about the lack of back up from me, SnakeEmbarassed Looked at Mossie side before work but it was not that great. Definitely possible though. Will have the gear in the car in the morning just in case.

Good going guys, good NM Anita.  I made the (wrong) call of going to work in the morning, with gear in the car, thinking I would sail in the afternoon. Hung around at pt Walter at about 2:30 but no wind there. So went and did some shopping chores instead. Still have gear in car so tomorrow morning seems the go. Cant go until 9:30 or so - hope its still on then.

Thanks Pointy! I think the run may work in a NW'er although it would be in the reverse direction, ending at the meville end. Really depends on tides though.

Greg, I don't think that run we did today would work on NW, you'd be going directly down wind.

Thanks for the congrats everyone.
