Well that was sublime
After scoring a nice foil sesh earlier this week I was keen for a powered-up slap, so when the breeze came in fresher than forecast at Pinnaroo I was all over it. Missioned up there and it looked pretty fresh, so rigged the WT64 + 7.4 + 33 Tribal WS combo.
Got on the water at 4:30 and it was a bit marginal at times (around 16-18K), but still happy to be planing pretty consistently on the 64. Around 5:30 it picked up a little, and I had enough pressure to make my way upwind for some lovely runs out past Little Island.
A nice bearaway back to base for the NM, and a few twilight runs in the fading light, wrapped up a couple of glorious hours of self-isolation.
As long as we can sail I can cop this COVID-19 malarkey, I'm feeling blessed after that sesh
