Stansbury, SA, AU NNW20-25+

F2 90, GPS 5.8 pink, 23 BP weedy

Good to have some fellow Bogans for company today.Smile

Shane and Nicole were waiting at the foreshore when i arrived at 10. It was cold but not real windy. Whilst waiting for Carl to arrive we rigged and i went out for a tester. Krikey, was fully powered and could get over the spit no worries. Carl was flying and Shane was finding speed on the flat too. Settled in for the hour and some gybing on the inside. Sun poked out for a while making it an enjoyable afternoon with the guys.Smile

Thanks Carl for the Crispy cream and Port.Smile

cheers

L'Bog Lake, SA, AU NNE swinging N, 15-25kts

Arrived 9:30am and it was going mental. bullet gusts and big chop. 6.2m smallest in the car so gave it a few tries before lunch, but wasn't really sailing and kept having near-misses. Leon lent me his 5.4 and freeride gear and I banged around on that for a while, then it moderated about 12:30. I pulled out my rig again, and burned around for a while, but energy sapped quickly after the morning sessions.

Not as cold as I'd feared. Great to sail after four weeks off water.

boggy, had to wait, for wind to backoff, got a sore shoulder, and did not take small gear.

never sailed in july before, and never a north easterly, first sail with JP 96l slalom (x yetti`s), and 6m gps (x trouser`s) when i get it sorted, i will find a couple of knots. 5 hardy blokes sailing, well done to YP bogans, thoght trousers and i would be only ones

Best day yet at Stansbury and best numbers i have had there.  1st run and 37.78 on screen.  From then tide got better and i managed heaps of suicude bearaways and jagged one to have 38.11 on the screen.  Used the Vector speed weed 23 in the Patrik 87 and even though a couple of spin outs at 38 knots but managed to save them - the fin was awesome and 2nd time on Gun sails 5m GSR - sail worked awesome today.

Great fun with Hoppy, Yetti, Nicola and my girls were there for company - Gordy there too lol.  This place is awesome Cool!   Saw a frendly seal waving to me out back too lol.

Stansbury - 20 to 30 knots.

Patrik 87 / 5m Gun sails GSR / Vector speed weed 23.

Nicely done lads. Big ups to Carl for breaking the sound barrier, and Yetti for pushing the needle into new territory. Very nice winter's day outing Bogans.

Not sure about y'all but I am old-man-sore today. Aching deep in my bones. One of those days where you are constantly pushing as hard as you can with your front hand because Bog was determined to violently backwinding you.

Physical/life-threatening sailing yeaterday but super glad I manned up! Gotta offset this office job somewhow.

Also maximum respect to the beginner out yesterday - cold, deadly off-then-on conditions that were ragdolling him all over, but he persisted. Most would have not even rigged up. Well played sir.
