Full Bogan (42931km): Road trip to lake George. Went with Carl and Casey. They stayed at my place Saturday night then we left 5:20 am to lake George. Had a great sail until I crashed at 41 knots and literally broke all battens but 2 on my 6.2 Neil pryde sail. Also broke the mast and stripped the harness hook off of me 😂😂😂I paddled and walked all the way back. Took 1.5 hours. Cheers for the fun day carl and Casey and thanks for driving Casey also. Fun trip 😁😁 | ||||||||||||||||||
Canadian Casey (2167km): Finally found some wind at LG and cracked a 30knots on my 2sec peak, busy day lots of driving and plenty of laughs. I did my peak on the 5.8, i should have switched down to it earlier, much more controllable in the gusts. Jack Bogan (3705km): Boggy Lake, SA, AU Nice afternoon sail in the westerly. Water a lot flatter than expected due to low water level. 6.3 KA Race 96 Patrick

Captain skip bogan (50090km): Awesome weekend with Sam, Casey, Peter and Stash. Big forecast and 1st and last chance to sail the Golden lake for the season. Not the ideal direction but windy forecast. Stayed at Sam's saturday night with Casey and had a few breskis and laughs as normal . Arrived at 9.30 and Peter and Stash headed out on light breeze. Not in a hurry rigged and in a big squall had the sail lift up and punched hole in luff - luckily a bit of tape and fixed. Rigged the 6.3 with the gusty conditions and went with the slalom. Meanwhile the wind increased and headed out on the Black project weed speed 31. 38 on 1st run and ended up in the weed monster. Headed back to shore and cracked out the Fangy FF18. Alot better and enjoyed cruising around wherever i liked in the weed and shallows . Probably a little small for the 6.3 but worked well. Spent the arvo tring to crack a 40 but just a little off lol. Had a couple of crashes. In the end put in the Vector 25 for a few runs but too tired by this time. Sam was smoking - well done mate - shame about the Sail and mast. Casey - well done on the PB's and cheers for taking us. Peter and Stash - nice sailing guys - great to catch up. Not the usual flat water at the golden lake but was still fun. Patrik 87 / black project weed speed 31 / FF18 / Vector 25 weed speed / 6.3m Gun sails GSR.

Peter Daish (26030km): Lake George, SA, AU went out on speed board too early, only got aother 1 knot top speed, pretty rough for lake george and water was high meaning no weeds beds, the ones I went over were too shallow and got caught in them. great day but |
