Moderate to fresh NE with a bit of NNE in it - gusting 16-24 knots.
HSM 6.6 CA SL55 19cm Delta
Very physical sail today a tad overpowered in some gusts and just right at other times. Getting used to the CA again took a few runs but felt good today.
A few lads out to keep me company, nice to see you all.
Bad luck for Alwyn who cut his shin on a post in the car park when he got there, consequently he could not sail and was a bit down, don't worry Al there will be other days.

Biggest NE'er I've sailed in for some time. Pity the water level/ weed is all wrong - very little flat water to be had .
Most likely the last time that sail will be used - split a panel during a crash on my first gybe. Made it a bit worse crashing in the chop at the end of the next speed run, but thought it still fixable at that stage. Decided to head for home - some time down the downwind bear away about half a square metre of monofilm went missing! Bought it for $50 bucks two summers ago - think I've had my money's worth!
