Albany, WA, AU Nice mistral speed 95 koncept 6.2 fangy 21s cut to 18cm A nice breeze E to ENE kept the sail powered up nicely. I hit something going upwind on the nm, luckily didn’t come off and thought “ I’d hate to hit that on the way down” and yes you guessed it, doing mid 30’s I hit it or something else. I reckon it was a fish of some sort. Over the handlebars, landed on my back and skipped along till I stopped. Unbelievably nothing broken, not me or the gear. Decided I’d used up all my luck for the day and called it. a fairly good crew out, locals and visitors. All in all a great lilacs day.

Another great Lilacs session wind somewhere in the low to mid 20kt range. So plugged the Avalon 5.5 into the 48, went lookinh for the 19@55 deltoid, but couldn't find it, so plugged the old 18@50 starboard assy. This worked well and I managed to do a bit of tuning with the sail. Then I changed to the ka speed 5.2,  and got my best speed, but I think conditions had improved while I changed.

Plenty of company, water level must have been close to ideal, not quite coming over th outer weed bank, so there was plenty of flat water, but weed wasn't too thick on the surface.

But wind was a touch to square on the nm for me to go real fast.

JP Speed 54, NP RSR E8 7.0, Tribal delta 18cm

Fun little session down at Albany, struggled to go faster, just felt draggy today.

Good day, started out with a 3 hour 10km kayak with my chicky this morning and a nice sail later.

Lot of people out today (doesn't anybody work anymore?)

End of the session tried a few Alpha's and surprisingly didn't gumby a few of them so well happy.

Nice first full day down in Albany, woo hoo!
