Lake Weyba, QLD, AU. First decent sail in 3 weeks after having an injury, gusty S-SE 5-25 kts at times. Out with Ian, Greg, Anne, Russell, Adam, Wayne, Bryn, Paul and a couple of other unknowns. Nice to be in FNQ teamCool

Burrum Heads, QLD, AU

89 Falcon / 6.2 R8 / Tribal 30

First sail for a few weeks to see if the back was starting to come good. Not to bad but didn't push things . Didn't really chase any speeds but pretty happy with the alpha. Don't think I've used the 6.2 since April so took a while to figure it out again. Good crew at Burrum today.

Pity I missed you Cam. Merena and I are up at Agnes for a month.

Don't know how you do those k's Pete.

I reckon there was a 27 alpha to be had today but couldn't quite get everything to line up.

Merena had a good day as well with a couple of PB's. Creeping up on the 30 knot mark.

Great alpha Dave.
Welcome Dr Cam to Gold CoastCool
you missed few like crab pots in most unexpected places, anglers fishing accross speed line, kiters most obvious risk and shallows water while sailing Northerly winds. landing planes on the water, drifting things with current,

Great Alpha again Dave. Thanks for motivating me to go for distance Pete at Wyeba. Great to see you and Dave will be able to give the Northern Queensland some better team numbers in their summer months.

Scintillating numbers guys!  Big congrats on the PB alpha Dave- super cool!! (gybing will be my New Year's goal..) & WELCOME to the team Peter!!!- sailed more distance in your sesh than I probably will end up doing for the whole month of December!

Unfortunately, it has been bucketing down rain here in Cairns...  Still holding a glimmer of hope looking at the wind forecasts for the rest of the week!

Have a great Christmas Team!!! Cool
