Red rang about lunch time and told me the wind was going off, i new this cos i was on the water, but i really was trying not to knock off early, luckly the high tides were not helping us. Soon as he rang and told me Grant was sailing, the seed was planted, headed down the lake, but as i was driving down i could see the wind easing, just missed the best part. Was trying for a nautical but couldn't hold the wind all the way, just wasn't loaded.

Nice Grant...

Came down to have a look (on babysitting duties) and watchied as you had a massive off near the river mouth - you were a long way away but saw an impressive spray as you took the spill. I rang Jacques and he headed down later but missed the best of it...

I came home for lunch and watched you as well. Was hoping that someone could get out and join you as it looked pretty quick. I had to run to the airport after work so couldn't get out. That 30 for the nautical mile is elusive. But well done on your 29.56 which rounds up to 30 anyway.

Thanks Fellas  .Red i glanced at my gps  just before the stack 33kt  fin gave way just unhooked in time .Took the wind out of my sails (literary)Was fully worked going up wind but the downwinder was fast. Only knee deep as well.  Frant i was hopeing for the 30 .Should of done a couple of more runs but to unfit.Great sail but.

Great PB Grant, I can recal when Frant had a bottle of red up for grabs for the first guy to get a 30k peak on the Lake. Well those days are far behind us.

Are you up for another bottle for 30 nm on the Lake Frant. If so, I'll match it.
