| Mike Sinclair (24918km): 4 categories   Christchurch Estuary, Nice powered up session until I broke my leg/ankle. I was heading upwind into the river mouth for 2nd time and hopped off for a look at water depth and bang. It was interesting getting ashore and I was wondering how I was going to get home when I saw Rob Dinks and got his attention. He sure saved my bacon and got an ambo. Big thanks Rob. I reckon he was happy to be the rescuer for a change. Ambo had to come in through the top track from Bridge St to find me. 2 1/2 hours later I got to hospital. Broken my fib and tib and dislocated the ankle joint. Nice session up until then. SL68, NCX 6.5, Iwi SL2 37fin What a great organisation is StJohns.
