Another great day in Poole harbour - sailed from Sandbanks to Hamworthy to meet up with Ian. Blasted around there for a bit and then broad reached back. Gusty wind and as usual some big chop but managed to get a couple of decent runs. Sunny and warm as well!

Second day of racing at the first UKWA / BSA event of 2010. Wind was up and the racing was excellent fun. The water was pretty bumpy so I was focusing on getting around the course safely rather than going for GPS max speeds. My speed seemed better than the rest of the fleet and I had fun overtaking people whilst making up for my dodgy starts (note to self - figure out the favoured end of the start). I came second overall in the amateur fleet which is pretty good considering the number of wins I gave to Nick Martin who then went on to win. Well done mate... I look forward to racing you again!

Lovely day, bit gusty, short session. I would have been on a bigger board if I had one!
Feeling a bit fitter after three sessions in a week, nearly remembered how to gybe, can't wait to get the boots off.
