Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU, Buff Point OD 6.7, RS2, 19 Delta. Had a ball conditions suited me perfect, not too windy but always on the plane. The wind came in nicely after lunch but my arms were shot so called it a day. Heaps out and great to catch up with everyone - see you all soon. Almost a PB Alpha I was trying really hard :(

Best sail I've had in a very long time. Everyone was killing it it was great to watch. I sailed until I was ready to collapse. Run after run of monster powered up bearaways it was excelllent. My speed seems to have come in a bit under what it felt like but I had such a good time today I don't care.

Nice to be back!

I havent sailed for about 4 weeks now. Just missing out where ever l went but what a pleasant surpise today. I have missed the better wind earlier today but it was still a very pleasant ride with the 6.7m and the 90L isonic. Later it came in just a bit more so l have decided to venture out with my new 65L speedy {51cm wide] .. scared to death that l would have to swimm home with it and some of my friends know how l hate the water. No...it was great ..just enough wind for the initiation. Needless to say the best wind came in just as l left. Still l have enjoyed the day and seeing the old gang again...so good!

Maui TR11 6.6, exocet RS2, 19 delta and new BP 18 delta.

Nice and flat just not enough wind for the 6.6 to get it powered up still top day and had some nice runs on the slalom board.

Tried the speed board for a bit but it was not enough wind.

Tried the 18 BP thanks Mick heaps beter than a delta didnt spin out no where near like the delta and prety happy with high 38 knots on slalom board.

had a go on walshy kit wow very quick .

great sailing with everyone unbelivable turn out for a Friday.

FF79 and 6.6m, and a quick run on the speedboard at the end.

Another hard day at the office, started off really light, barely planing. Came in for an early lunch, second session was much better (after Cluffy rigged his 8.6). Late in the afternoon it picked up a little more.

Found it really hard to make any good speeds today, we have been spoilt with those great westerlies through winter.

So nice not be cold, great to sit in the sun and enjoy lunch without the risk of a finger snapping off.

Loads of guys out, most of them all day, there will be quiet a few distance PBs.

Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU        Warp 7.0 , RS4 and 59 wide JP/SL

Very off and on at first then filled in nicely . Got 36 out of the RS4 and was more than happy with that , headed to shore and about to head home about 1.00 when the wind kicked in another notch , was pretty well stuffed but went for a quick speed session . Hard to line up a gust in the flatter area but managed one good run . Glad i went back out to get the distance PB , Was a great site seeing so many out at one time . must have been at least 15 .

SUPER FUN DAY before flying back to work tomorrow.

A few people have asked me about the black project 18cm delta a tried yesterday. It performed very well and was fun to use with my 90l slalom board and 6.6. I didn't want to give it back. It was so much better than the Maui delta it only spun out a couple of times and I was driving it in chop compared to the Maui which is constant spin out city. You would need a bigger fin if using a bigger sail. I also had to put the mast track all the way back due to centre of effort of the fin which is just like a normal weed fin. How ever this one doesn't want to keep pushing you down wind. Any way there's my two cents worth and no I don't have a fin sponsor so I am not bias.

Congrats on the pbs Cluffy, Lyds and Greg. That was a hard day of keeping up wind for bareaways!

Cluffy, you were looking great out there.  Lyds, your gybing is getting much better (starting to lean hard into the turns).

Greg, you were smoking! Saw you have some great runs (thought you hit 40 on one of them. looked quick).

Great alpha Byron!

The 18cm is a proto type i asked to have made and after the intial testing they are making a set of larger fins to send out for me to test , as soon as they arrive will send down for Mick to lend out and get some feedback before they go into production , so far all results are very positive
