A super avo on the water, Started on the JP SS118/Combat 5.3 as Bel was going to come down, however with the wind increase she pulled out (wise) and I switched to the JP Xcite 110, NP Combat 5.3 and Mean lines 36 fin.

Some superb sailing up the top end of the bay with much smoother water. Landed more jibes than I stacked, even though my exit speed was down but I still was very happy with my jibe progress (Laff might have seen me make a couple). Cool

Rodd Point (yep again) - A quick hour after work    12/13knt ave - 15knt gusts (measured)

A fading wind - It didn't quite make it that far up the harbour - bad sail choice (should have gone 7.5) spent most of my time of the plane schlogging - almost a waste of time.

Board: ExocetCross117 Fin: Select SX.36(stock) Sail: Ezzy 6.3 WaveSE(2008)

Well done on the PB Tim - soooo close to that 30 mark!

I wish I could have made it to Kyeemagh instead of Rodd Point - my Boss(work), just won't have me leaving early ATM.

Bummer Dave, its was a great at Kyeemagh. I wont be out for a while dam it. I will have to try and get to 30 before that dredge goes across the bay.

I went for a blat on the 4m Ezzy Wave that I rigged for Bel (very very flat) and was planing along at 20 knots during the gusts. Plenty of wind.

Great speed Tim. Can't help thinking a 36cm fin on that combo seems a little big and that maybe a 34 might have got you to 30....Awesome work nonetheless.

cheers guys, its was great! I have only had the 36 fin since Xmas and love it but think I will save the $ for a smaller board rather than a smaller fin Foot in mouth  or borrow a fin for a session. Have a great day guys and enjoy Sat if you head out.

Great work Tim.

It can be a lot of fun coming down beside the runway.

We might have to adopt that northern beach as home while they f^*k around with the pipeline
