Despite the 20 - 25 knot forecast, were were lucky if we got 15 knots. Still went out though and had a few runs.

Pat

I really wanted to contribute to the session but I must say that the highlight of my incursion to the lake was being able to get rid of the dust you saw on my gear. Tongue out  The sight seing at sunset was wonderful though. I must get 1.3 mil to get that place Brett was suggesting. He was keen on lending me $5. It's something!

Good on you marcus for at least giving it a go - and cleaning all that dust of your board!

Well , may be I could have washed the board on shore but you know...  the man was desperate. It's Geoff's fault for not coming with me

I'll take the blame for woosing out. Mind you, rigging at 4:00 with the prospect of it getting dark at 5:15, kinda dampened the appeal. That and the severe lack of wind. We must have been in a wind shadow, the BOM graphs indicated that the wind didn't drop below 15 knots. Going on the graphs we should have been sailing all day.

Never the less, it was good to catch up with everyone for a chin wag.

you can say it Geoff, I'm a bit nuts. Let's face it; the wheather conditions were not the best but the two hours drive made at least have a go. Was not meant to be (I cannot believe the wind graphs!Yell) Nice clean gear as a result!!Smile Always good to catch up!
