wind was all over the place today and gusty to start with,on the water at 9.00 ready to go for the whole day but the conditions let us down.came in around 11.45 for an hour then headed back out till 4.00, if it was more consistant i would of had a greater distance.

tried my new RAm today a bit under powered but the first run with it was the best one by far,and it felt really really good, cant wait to get it cranking !.

Sailing today out at home (Port Sorell) with izaak, Graeme and Johno. Bit of a weird topsy turvy day. Wind was up early so we hurried to get out but it gradually died. Wind came back in at about lunch time so we again headed back out on the water and this time the wind was here to stay, at least a few more hours..... Really holey in places but still a nice sail.

Port Sorell with the young guns while the big boys headed off looking for other spots. Not much wind but enough for the S type 126 and Koncept 7.5 Missed the tide for the sandbar but happy with the day.

Sailed at Dorans Rd. NW wind 3 to 18 Knots Very patchy but at least I had a half decent sail, the last couple of times I have tried to sail at Dave's new spot, (the chicken factory) no sooner than I hit the water the wind died. I think they may ban me from going down there.

IS 125 Loft Blade 7.5 C3 venom 42 Much better combo with a decent fin.

back for a look at henty river today, and the bar looks good for this season, not enough wind today but i think it should go off on a windy day.looks about 750m long !

this photo is the top half of the run, henty river

Didn,t get the winds we were hoping for at Henty, but the weather we have had lately with  has lengthened the bar considerably. Awsome swell rolling in on the west coast (had to be 10'+) with the occasional swell running over 300 metres of sand and spilling into the Henty river where we were sailing. If I ever make 40Kts it will be there.

OMG ...  sounds great Izaak!!  So they managed to actually get out, not just check it out!!  Wasn't sure they'd make it in after record rains over the last few months (was muddy and boggy enough when dry).  Can't wait to see photos and the tracks.

Glad you managed to get out today Bear.  Don't worry, we'll have a proper sail at the causeway soon!!
