Bit slack at work so got to Elwood quite early today, wind from the south around 18 knots, got the Supersport out and sailed it for about 45 min. until the wind got a bit stronger then went for the comfort of the Syncro. Just another great afternoon at Elwood

One of those days you don't expect it to happen, forecast nothing special...and ....looked at the dials at 4pm, surprise, surprise 20knts at the Beacon. Decided that work may have to wait until tomorrow. Was going to join George and Stephen at Parkdale but it must have dropped off there when I arrived at 5:30pm, so decided to head north to Hampton and had actually a really good 1 hr sail at a fairly steady SSE around 18knts. Took the good ole workhorse and 'the beast' to get the best out what was left from the afternoon (and wind). No chop, just beautiful long waves rolling in to ride down and up....nice!

A crap day at Parkdale. Wind died out before I completed half a run. I now know the speed of the swell on the bay now.
