Browns Bay, SE 15 Kn > 10 Kn.

Keen for a sail after hanging around yesterday for " Big Saturday" that never came.

Browns Bay worked well in SE once I slogged out of the bay to clear the reef.

Had some long runs between Long Bay and Mairangi Bay before the wind died. Was tempted to sail up to the peninsular and back  but not brave enough on my own. Need some company for that mission. Rough sea state for such light wind..... lots of bashing the waves.

Well done for getting out - and the pb!  Late morning Bean Rock was reporting up to 27kn - but Cheltenham was in a wind shadow!  Short of sailing the other side off Devonport ... plenty of water moving and not just because of the fizz boats & ferries!  Wind was there for an hour or so, then ...  :(
