Green IS-first wind of the year but unfortunately unfavourable tides & lots of East in the wind .We jumped on the early Ferry with high hopes only to have it break down 1/2 way to the island so we missed the morning session on the /eastern run -having to return to Cairns/reboard & make our way over in the slow boat of the fleet...

THe chop was ferrocious & the smooth section today was limited to around 50m so frustrating +++

Wind was very strong -tower was regularly showing over 30 knots but honestly after  sandy point this was crap

CA 47 Maui ultra 26 NP RS Racing Evo 2

Tried a run out wide on the RRD 105 X fire which was scary as -board was flying but picking a line was impossible

Burrum Heads.....Bit of a debacle for me.....used 5.9m but when I got out a few Kms I was overpowered....spent a lot of time in water

trying to waterstart but just going over the front.     Just need more practice in these conditions.

A lot of sailors out including the guns from Brizzy.

4.7 KA Kaos on 78L JP Freestyle Wave with stock fin. Was a bit rough out there at Illawong but the wind had a lot more south in it than usual which meant heading out into the waves rather than across them, nice big jumps Sealed Not so good for speed though.

Hey Cam, nothing wrong with a 35 on that tide Mate, you did well Wink Bugger about the boat Yell  You'll need to take No Doze pills at Burrum, the water is so flat for so long there's the danger of nodding off WinkLaughing

Pete I'm guessing the Knob was very gusty and rough Yell
