Beachport, SA, AU  Lake George, from the spit. WSW 20+ and gusty.

First time out for 9 weeksSurprised, been gale force here but heaps of rain with it, went out at lunchtime for a couple hours after the big gusts had calmed down, just had a sail and didn't go for pb's as was a bit rusty have the start of the flu and the water level has come up heaps on the lake and couldn't really find any real flat spots over the weed beds like last time i sailed in May. was about 6 to 10 inch chop at times, Hey Kimba don't need a weedy now. just done a few long runs across the lake so alphas are pretty crap, just good to be out on the water Smile.

F2 Stoke 117 straps in on wave setup, KA koncept 5.8 (thanks for the mast Joe) then 5.0, select weed 30, should have been on the 5.0 from the start.

2nd day at Barmera with Ricky.  Very gusty conditions made for rigging 2 rigs and boards and keep swapping to find the best.  1st day on tb58.  This board will rock in some real wind:-)  Started an hour a couple of times but too gusty so just cruised around.

2010 Fanatic Falcon 102 / 2009 ka koncept 6.6 / sl7 33cm - hour, distance and alpha.

Exocet tb58 / 2009 ka koncept 5.8 / 32cm C3 - peak, avg and nautical.

Lake Bonney - 10 - 20 knots.

Thanks Hardie

Sailed with Carl today in pretty gusty off and on conditions. Anthony and Choc are on their way to Sandy hoping to get the wind tommorow.

Well done to all, I am looking forward to sailing with everyone again one day!

Finally got the trophy engraved from last year, hopefully a lot of the team is heading down to Lake George in October and we can get a team photo.
