Yarralumla, ACT, AU JP91freestylewave+6.4naish boxer

nasty gusty choppy day ,0-25 knots

used a seat harness for the first time in 10 years, think I'll go back to a waist harness ,better controll and easier to get out of

6.4  is also the biggest sail I have used in about 10 years, not at all liking sails above 6m.I'm sure I would have been faster with my 5.8

Well anyway, got some runs on the board for the ashes

Yarralumla, ACT, AU CA50+3.6xs1

big bullet gusts made it frustrating, fine most of the time but got lifted and dumped by some big gusts,3.6 is too big in 25 knots, didn't feel like rerigging and only had a small session and then just watched dad

I want to go back to Bonaire

CA50Tongue out i can see a few PB'S comeing, alex compared to bonaire that lake must be frizzing, Arky i think you will change your mind about the seat harness when you stick a decent race sail on the CA,

Hi KEEF

The CA50 is for me,but Alex got first go.

the sail I scored cheaply is a boxer SL,I think I rigged it pretty badly, not enough downhaul and I struggled.

the harness I can probably get used to,I will need to,I want to try and get a big distance score for the ashes series and the waist harness is what limits me,after a few hours of sailing it really starts to crush my ribs.

I want to try and do 200 (dreaming perhaps) but I will give it a go at sanctuary point.Aiming for a southerly, rigged by 8,sail for 2 hours, walk up to the shop,2 egg +bacon rolls, sail for another couple of hours, then a nice big burger and then for as long as i can in the afternoon. For  september I won't be on a freestyle board but still using my trusty wave sails.

I will need a wing man to back me up and, seeing as you have no friends to sail with on your team, I was thinking that you should join the Gustbusters (gustbusters now only 1 point behind DD),well at least for  this month...

Expect to see me in the next week perhaps
