Wind was a bit light when I pulled into the carpark at Melville but once the wind swung to more of a southerly it filled in nicely (if a little gusty). First day on the Exocet speed slider 62 and Select Sx32 with a 7.2 NP Diablo. Still needing to sort out the set up but it was not too bad for the first session. Probably needed to change down to the 6.7 and a 28cm fin  by the end of the session but at that stage I was stuffed (first sail in 4 months).

Well done getting out Terry. Should have given me a bell as i was tempted to go and had time but it looked too southerly and gusty so worked on the trailer instead.

Sounds like i should have gone. Oh well, maybe we'll get some favorable conditions in the next 4 weeks.

Thanks for the welcome back Steve. It may not have been the Big Sunday some had hoped for but it turned out pretty well in the end. It seems there were a few of us having their first sail for the last few months. Hopefully more to come real soon.

G'day Wayne, was going to give you a call but you seemed pretty set last week when you said you were gonna work on the trailer. Although when it filled in I should have sent a text at least. Next time.
