Turn ou to be one of the best SW days on the bar. Very happy with PB's although i had a 38.21 in the guage and a 36.33 also, but thats what happens i spose. All up a good day and was particuarly pleased with how my equipment performed. At some points wind would have been 30-40 kts so a nice bit of breeze. Couldnt feel my hands or feet when we came in but starting to regain feeling again.

West inlet Stanley NW Tas

First sail here, today was one of those very rare days with the 5.0m sail up and had to wait for the massive squalls to die down a bit before trying for a run.

gusting to around 50 kts (smithton airport 10 ks away)  Would have had a few more runs but had the "toos" sailing by myself

Too worried the Hi Ace would get stuck in the sand and the tide would come in, (then I would have to ring Dr Cam and get the ph no. of the SES guys for a towLaughing)Too scared by myself in unknown watersEmbarassed, Too stuffed trying to battle the elements. I might have to get some of you guys to send over a carton of HTFU that should do the trick WinkLaughing

Well done James 2 pbs.

Good speeds for the opposite to normal run at Port Sorell

You blokes should have sailed yesterday up where I was today, drive to the waters edge if you are game enough.

Having trouble overlaying my tracks but this was the run I was on. The WSW was pumping the swell into the outside part of the run making it too rough to go out any further

Great effort everyone!!!  Well done James that is an awesome 2 second peak!!  Well done johno for going out alone at a (realtively) new spot!!!  Well done Kaleb for getting to 30 knots so quickly, that really is a fantastic effort, especially on wave gear in rough conditons!!!  You realise that the next milestone is 35!!!

I also need to HTFU as I was driving toward Henty (20 minutes away), with my gear in the car and the wind gusting to who knows what (certainly 50+) and I turned around and drove back to Hobart instead!!  Just too wet, windy and cold to try and go in alone (the "too's" definitely got to me in a big way)!!

Didn't take you long to get 30 kts Kaleb well done and Dave not far from Henty off cape Sorell today they recorded their biggest wave ever 18.40 m (and possibly an Oz record)so I would imagine it would be an awsome sight and would have wrecked todays sailing at HentySurprised Dave did mention it was a little "chilly" today 5.0c at Strahan apparent temp minus 9.0 brrr
