Speed Fortnight Monday.  Spent whole day on bigger gear while most on speed gear.  Was good to blow out the cobwebs.   WNW early swinging to SW for the afternoon.  Some pretty cool whoopdedoos on the speed course which settled down as time went on.  Decided to call it quits when cars were getting lapped with water.  lots of happy visitors to the Pit today.  Tough day for speed - many (including me) feeling like they were sailing faster than the speeds recorded.  Carbon Art SL58, Naish stealth 6.5 and select speed 29 followed by Venom 34 (thanks Kato).

CA40. KA 20 assy, 2009 KA 5m Koncept.

Lorch 63L with C3 Slingshot 19cm and JP Slalom 84L with KA 23cm assy. KA Koncept 5m and 5.7m. Super bumpy run on incoming tide. Got one decent run with a smoother bit in the middle section.

Lots of NW at the start of the day which is good for smashing gear so I only did a few runs on the car park bank and waited for the sw change which didn,t really come through,but the west was great fun on the covered east bank at high tide, with the SL 52. Starting to push this board and fin beyond my comfort limits and still haven,t found its limit.....YET Great to catch up with all the old crew down for speedfortnight and meet some new faces. Game on
