Well i've had 2 sails at this spot now and pulled 3 P.B's, it is a brilliant spot and it hasn't really been epic yet, looking forward to that day!!. Left work early today to head for a sail, wind wasn't really cranking but it was 28 degrees so i couldn't resist, As i was heading there i could see there was only maybe 20 -25 at best, but they were tipping 30 so it shouldn't drop out anyway, rigged the 6.4 and headed out, was on the plane but not fully lit, so worked may way to the start of... yeh why not..., JK'S run. took off for the first nautical and got to the end, it felt pretty good but wasn't powered up had a peak of 35.6 and that run turned out to be a 31 NM. As i was heading back up, the wind filled in a little and took off on the next run, this one felt better, powered up all the way, but the last part of the mile i had to tighten right up to gain a bit more water depth, that shaved a lot of speed off for the last part of the NM. I had a peak 38.23 on the display, new straight away it was gunna be good. That was probaly the best part of the wind, i went back up a few more time but could only pull 34's and was totally under powered running that deep, so went and did a few alpha's on another flat patch, this place is unreal, for some reason the water totally glasses off over these weed bank's where the water is around 700 deep. So your sailing fully lit on a 6.4 and theres not a ripple on the water!!! No Shit. I will get Red to film this one day when where out and post it, cos i know there will be a few non believers. All this was topped of by a nice phone call form the guys at 2nd Wind with the news of the arrival of the new speed mechines!! can't wait.
