Rosevears, TAS, AU

Good sailing at Rosevears, high tide and  choppy.

Great sail even though it is was quite choppy, awesome to test out Dads/mine.... JP Slalom VI 59cm and it was bloody brilliant rides straight off the fin and powers either up or down wind, also felt great to jibe.Mucked around of a JP Funster 205L for a bit with a NP The Fly2 3.9 and got on the plane and did 22knots haha.

Oh well great all round sail and was nice to get over the 10000kmLaughing

Mostly on the 6.3,JP Slalom VI 59cm and had a few runs on the 5.5 EVO II

Not a bad sail if a little gusty and choppy. Had the 6.7 CR out on the 86 isonic slim first up and was fully powered up and a little out of control at times in the confused chop. Decided to change down to the 5.6 SSR which made me feel a lot more comfortable and in control. The bar eventually came up and i got a few on the 86slim there. I then changed down to the speed board had a couple of runs on that and then broke a boom Cry and my day was over. Was nice to have quite a few out sailing today!! Tomorrow morning doesn't look to bad so hope to get out early Smile

congrats too Izaak on his 10,000 km's !

Good session for being very choppy, but really enjoyed it.My first time on the new JP VI 59cm and it felt great, cant wait for some good sailing conditions on it.

Izaak, well done mate. I just worked out that at my present rate of sailing I will be 105 years old by the time I reach 10,000km.

He's probably the only one young enough to actually be able to do it.  Congrats Izaak and Geoff on your PB.
