Anthor day at VP and the wind was much lighter and even more gustier the sand bank was just right but no guts in the wind was really frustrating ,So decided to do some grosswind runs for the rest of the session and that was not bad staying on a plane all the time and having a great blast...

Nice to see some of the mob sailing today all in all a good session..

VP. Falcon 111, Warp 6.8, Select fin 35 cm. Except for me everything was in good condition. The tide was just right, so the chop was not too bad and the wind was not too strong for me, though it died a bit down every now and then. I just had a bad fall on my steps downstairs in the slippery condition on christmas day, so I am lucky to be able to do anything at the moment. The left side is a bit bruised and it hurt every time I hit the chop, but it was a pain well worth it. I still could not get any plane through gybes, but I am getting closer to that aim. Next time in steady wind and flat water, if it comes soon. I did not do any good speed runs although I was once competing with Graeme, probably doing 25 knots and proud of it, when Pierre cruised past us doing about 33knots and left us like we were standing still. But it was a good day always seems to be, when Graeme drives down from Towomba in his old Charade and brings the wind with him. May be tomorrow?

Gusty at VP. rigged too small as the lulls were long. No where to do good speed runs as too choppy in the middle and mud bank wind angle was wrong. Very happy with NM, sailed over to Macleay where wind was a bit more consistant. IS86 is fantastic in the chop.

Wellington Point, QLD, AU

Went out on the wrong gear as the wind swung around to much to the south making it gusy I ended up getting out a floatier board which helped then I ended up having a reasonable sail but still the wind was up & down.

CA 50 then 58

Loft 5.6

Venom 30 then 36

Well I got home dodging potholes all the way to Toowoomba.

Yes Albert we were having a bit of a race and then Pierre steamed past us.

Not tomorrow, but maybe Friday I'll come down for a sail. The forecast looks ok.

Great NM Sean in that cop.
