I don't know what I've done but I think I have used up all my luck this week.  Strapped the thumb up and thought it would be okay.  The ocean was quite large and somehow on first run (and not even going fast) just as I got into footstraps a big gust came through, the fin let go and I caught the leeward rail and somehow I smashed my elbow in the rather innocuous dismount.  Thought it would come good if I keep sailing so decied on pointing hard up the beach to find some flatter water.  Just as I was getting into the groove I went to go broad and bang - another harness line broken.  Sailed all the way back down the beach but by the time I'd gone up to change harness lines my elbow had started to go cold and wasn't enjoying me trying to move it.  Also the thumb had started throbbing.  I conceded defeat and to top it off my mast was well and truly stuck.  Think I'll post a stuck mast thread on Seabreeze
