7.0m severne turbo, 115 rocket, 39cm pepeweed. Headed over to Claudesville with the stock fin only to have the wind drop out on the way back, bit of a long slog. Came in and changed the fin to a reboxed choko and while I was doing that the wind picked up a bit, love to say the fin did it all but had a ball when the wind got a tad stronger. Nice to see a large contingent from all the teams making the most of conditions at Novara with a large tide and hardly any weed to speak of.

another drift, this time the estuary, probably should have stayed here and had more wind on the ocean.

But it was nice to share the compnay, both locals and blow ins.

JP SLW, NP RSS Mk IV 7.8m, JP Slalom 56cm

Last night as the 1's and zero's were flying around in email form between team members about this weekend, I eventually responded with my goals for this weekend

My priorities for sailing this weekend in order:

  1. I want to sail with my mates
  2. I don't want to pump the sail to get onto the plane
  3. I don't want to pump the sail to get onto the plane
  4. I want to make a couple of gybes
  5. I don't want to pump the sail to get onto the plane
  6. If consistent enough I want to try for an hour
  7. I don't want to pump the sail to get onto the plane
  8. If consistent enough and I have time enough sail constantly for as long as possible and try and knock up another 100+

Got down the run late to see a lot of people out and nobody to give advise about what to rig, so I rigged what I felt like sailing with and I really wanted to get the big girl out for a frollick.

Hit the water and yeahargh I was one smug smiley chubby muppetCool with a chubbyEmbarassed sailed staright out into the middle all by myself out past the platform and then back into Cox bay just carried on doing runs like that, was aiming for an hour but around the 40min mark SE of the platform I gybed and looked up to see glass, curse you Super light wind board of beauty once planing you are great, unfortunately if the wind drops out altogether it's back to flapping the back of the sail.

I had a ball tonight and almost achieved up to level 6CoolCoolCoolCool

Awesome funCoolCoolCoolCoolCool

Cool Some wind at last!! Good little session with the Safety Bay Gang: Adam, Tom, Jason, and myself.. wanted to sail 5.8 today so I stayed at my local.. kite pollution with 30+ spraying out of the nest, made everything hard. I am really developing my avoiding skills Wink.

Had some good jumps outhere in the swell Smile. Not enough wind for the 5.8 and Alphas, but enough for nice cruising sail!! Thanks Adam for the beer, it felt great after the 4h sailing Cool. NM from the only run back from the island.

Safety Bay, WA. Iso 76l, 27 LE weedie, Code Red 6.7.

Started the day back at Avalon Sails, trying to get my 7.7 to be sailable.....didn't happenFrown. So went home had lunch and drove back to the run. Watched all the perth boys rig up (good to meet Snides and a few of the SRM). Not having a 7.7 and wind not looking to be overly exciting, made the call to head back to Safety Bay to sail with Sammy and Adam. Had a ball trying to go fast in the swelly stuffSmileLaughingSmile!!!

Hoping to get easterly bliss tomorrow!!! See you all bright and early
