Sans Souci, NSW, AU

Tabou Rocket 105

Loft 02 5.9m

Mistral Freemove 32cm fin

The right gear but I found the conditions a bit much for me. Lacking match fitness. Lots of spinout.

Great Speed Karl, What time do you think you will be going past Port today?

Hey Karl, second best speed ever in quite choppy conditions. Great stuff! Is the 105 a new board?

The 105 is the same 2005 or 06 model I've always had. I'm not sure which year it is. Yeah it was quite choppy. My boom was too low and as a result my bum slapped the water a fair few times.

Nice Karl. Well done for getting out there, and even better for getting some good speed.

The boom height is heavily dependant on harness lines and mast base position. A low boom when balanced with the other two can be great fro control in chop... but just sticking the boom low with the harness lines and mast base not matching can cause problems like hitting the chop.

Cheers,

Adrian
