Pelican Point, WA, AU  iso 94 jet 7.4 33gw

last day of school before holidays and some nice breeze to celebrate. think thats my best numbers with this sail, felt good most of the time started to get over powered towards the end. after seeing obi in the carpark decided to do some runs over the sand bar and forgot to turn gps back on. idiot!!!! sure it's been said before, but these runs felt the qickest of the day(won't forget to do that again). Was hoping to get a better nm but never quite happened.

A very enjoyable hour. Well powered up at times and fun to have a crack at some nautical miles. Point Walter as gusty as ever and a surprising amount of chop in the middle of the river given the relative lack of boat traffic! High tide may be the cause?

You have your good and you have your BAD

Fresh out bit gusty and very lumpy but feeling feeling like i've got the red cape on, in and out a couple stuffed a jibe out the back and decieded not by choice to swallow 3 or 4 mouthfuls of that lovely salty brine. Waterstarted and headed for dry land dry reaching and leaving a burley trail behind me so thought it was a good time to give it up........

Hey Buddy- sorry to distract you! Never made it back safe in the knowledge that sunday was looking like a go-er. FUT! look at the forecast now- yes blame me I did that !

Anyway - well done on the distance. You snagged a great day in the middle of a crap month you luck boy. And just a smidge over my PB distance of 54.59km. Your going up the ladder!

S'Punk- nice going there. Where was Troutty....

Yeah it was bloody choppy out in the middle, so I tried to stay close to the Attadale shore but the down side of that was inconsistent breeze so no chance of a good NM.....yours is impressive for the conditions Some Punk...was it down the Wally end?

Not sure Obi. Not like Troutty to go AWOL on a good day like yesterday! Ray Gun, it's funny how miffed we get when we forget the GPS. I still enjoy sessions without it but it's always fun to see how you went.

Never you mind Troutty. They say "the grass always seems greener on the other side" and never a truer word was said. For sure if one goes to the ocean it will be a good day on the river and vice versa. So what do you do? Stay at home? I don't think so, you get on out there and have a good old spash around in any puddle you can find! Happy days.
