Went down to Swan Bay to check it out and have a sail with Red and Jacques. Good to see Dan down there too. It's a nice spot with plenty of flat water but I really needed a weed fin to have fun. Early on when the tide was low I was picking up weed all the time and when I did get up to speed I didn't feel comfortable really going for it for fear of running into a sandbar. In the afternoon the wind picked up so I changed down to a wave sail and christened my new Kode 86. Not really the conditions it was designed for but it needed to get wet! What a great board, so comfortable and turns so smooth. Really easy to get going with my 100kg on it too. Can't wait to get it into some waves.
