What a day to remember!!!

SOOOOOOOO windy totally overpowered on the Koncept 5.0

chop was everywhere, my god lucky we all got home safe. Thanks Kaleb for the jump start (car).

Dave, Kaleb and I all had our moments of glory and nearly in the S..t  in that chop it was so hard to line up a fast run.

100% for commitment in those conditions well done.Cool

Koncept 5.0 starboard 86 venom 28Cool equipment no issue sailor BIG issues Laughing Just fun to be in the wild elements today

Wind warning my arse. Was full on excited and nervous and scared last night because of how gnarly the forcast was. Turned out to be very dissapointing. Spot looked great though with heaps of potential, and my gear felt really good with a few changes made. Anyway better than school and what else would I rather be doing with my time??? Nothing

First run out ripped upwind, nicely powered up thinking, gees this could be a great day! And then the wind had a fit and decided it would only puff now and then. Water was super flat with the wind scuds coming through and apart from one catapult which slightly bent the boom, it was a pretty uneventful sail. Still good to be out maybe next time Smile

Disappointed in what was a epic forecast. My patience has nearly run out with Montagu sick of having to walk back.Might have to leave it till spring.

Very windy in the south of the state.  Steve went out early in top of the bay at South Arm and said it was too choppy and windy, so we moved around to Pipe Clay Lagoon.  Still very windy.  Good fun with Russ and Kaleb, battling the elements and trying to find some flatter water to go for speed.  Very hard conditions.  Good to see Pete Freeman join us.  Sailed Starboard iSonic 86Slim, Severne SSR 4.6 and C3 Venom 28cm.

Mega windy here all day.  Choppy and hard to keep control, cant believe Russ kept the 5.0 under control on an 86 litre board in over 40 and choppy.  Very close between the three of us today, great fun on the edgeLaughing Not happy with Dave, why does he always have to be that bit quickerWink

South Arm, TAS, AU

Managed one run across to the other side. Came in too windy and way too choppy to sail with the 5.6, ended up walking about 1km. Luckily Dave was there to give me a lift back to the car. Isonic 76, new Slingshot 23 (which felt great off the wind but spun out a bit in the chop), Reflex 5.6.

Bad luck guys up North! Looks like we had frustrations all over the state.  If only the wind had of averaged itself throughout we all could have nailed the day.

We had 40+ all day and its still going berzerk.

Yes the wind was just missing us at Montagu, Cape Grim's had like 45-55+knots for like 24hrs.

Too rough for speed boards.  We all really pushed it today in those conditions and as Russ said we were lucky not to do some damage.  Kaleb was absolutely fanging it as shown by his 5x10.  When I heard you got 35.78 Kaleb, I thought that's it, I'm not going to be able to top that, but then I managed to get one good run in (whew).  Well done russ with the 5.0m.
