WoW! what a day and a mega WOOT for cracking 200 kms. Damn GPS'es I had to concentena the data files to get the covered distance and I'm pretty confident thats an accurate distance as the crow flies.
On the water about 0805 hours with 6.3m Blade but not enough wind. Back in rigged 7.8m Blade, back on the water about 0815 hours. Had a drag out to the main Lake and was grossly overpowered. Back in changed to 6.3m and dropped to 40cm fin from 42cm thinking if wind drops need fin to get back. Back on the water 0840 hours. This session involved me hitting x2 fishing nets and finding Geoffs (he is credited with finding this first) submerged polyethylene tubing just floating under the water about 500m short of the radio tower. Also ran aground a couple times looking for flat water gybes. This would also be the first time I had to feather the 6.3m and use all the skills i had in keeping board on water as at times lifting. Enough was enough came back in 1220 hours and changed fin to 36cm. My god what a difference in control with also flattening the sail out. Wind eased changed to 7.8m with 42cm at 1440 hours. Really wanted 200km so kept pushing.

Finished at 1535 hours as arms and hands were F#@*ked. Wasn't aware of GPS'es saving sessions so could have stopped earlier. Bloody buttons#@#^&*.
I really enjoyed todays sail. The wind was fantastic and was still blowing at 1630 hours when I left. I was surprised in seeing 2 young ladies out sailing Boggy. Who they were I've no idea. They started too big then rigged down and got a few runs in. No one else about and again a bloody great sail:-)
ps - I did a rogue run south of land spit. Ran aground as couldn't go deep enough but in a NW the water would be ultra flat!!!
