Day 1 of Round 5 of the UKWA Inlands at Farmoor Reservoir near oxford. Very testing conditions with massive gusts. For the first race in the moring it looked like the wind was picking up so grabbed my 8.3m and unfortunately the wind dropped so for the first 2 races i was massively underpowered in the lulls so after lunch i grabbed my 9.5m and the wind went nuts with 30 knot gusts and i got round the 3rd race but had to retire from the 4th as i couldn't even hang onto the 9.5 any more. Was great racing tomorrow and hoping tommorrow brings some more wind so i can disguard my bad results from this morning.
