Melville Beach, WA, AU

F111, 6.4 Koncept, 40 free (the usual) 15 - 18 knots.

Thought I'd go down to Melville for a light wind sail, and I had a ball! I completed three gybes in a row (including the PB witnessed by scarrgo), and a number of tacks, and everything felt nicely balanced. I'm liking this futura. Who knows what it could do with a decent fin. Top 5 results for 1 hr, alpha and distance. The sun even came out. Very happy. LaughingLaughingLaughing

Thanks again for Friday's gybe coaching, Mark!

Sunset cruise on Bubba.

Wallyworld from Mossie. One nice gust for a Bubba 2sec PB. Not much traffic.

Even got some wave action with a carving turn off the ferry wake!Cool

South Fremantle, WA, AU

Nice sail at Chop Central at about 3pm - I guess the wind was about 18 knots.

Swapped betweeen the Futura and JP FSW 78L which was fun to ride after the Futura and probably about the same speed.

Futura 101, Code Red 6.1, JP31 Weedy 31 and JP FSW 78L, same sail and JP Weedy 21 (a bit small)

Well done Anita - nice results

Pelican Point, WA, AU

Started with 122 Isonic and 8.5 sail, but wind picked up while rigging. Had a few runs but then changed to 76 Isonic and 5.8 sail, much more comfortable

forgot my gps today not a bad thing really though melvile was very nice and flat and pretty consistent over the bank which was apparently particularly shallow but i had no problem on my 30cm fin, was drag racing with peter Mckenzie both on 6.2 reflexes both on isonics (his was newer and bigger) really struggled to keep up with him across and upwind, so spent the next hour or so tuning with him and starrted to get the setup firing by the time the wind was switching off Frown

oh well also did some gybe practice at the start so was a very productive training sail

saw Anita out having an absolute blast and looked like she was sailing particularly well no surprise she scored a pb, congrats

was just a lovely sunny afternoon sail

bring on summer Laughing

Well done David! An alpha jelly bean too. Can't believe it picked up enough for the 5.8. That's a big change down.

Were we sailing on the same river?
