It was pretty mental when the storm came over. Check out the wind chart at 5.15pm - 20kt ENE to 25kt SW in less than 9 minutes..! Made a hasty exit when the lightning started hitting the hill just behind Brighton and was clearly heading straight for us... Scary.

The wind was only strong out in the middle so the runway wasn't really working unfortunately. The mile was a diagonal right across the middle

Nice PB on the NM mate. I did not even consider going out yesterday with the storms forecast, but looks like you had a good sail!! Well done.
