Quick session amid babysitting duties...so stayed mainly inside the bank...very gusty no consistency.

Ventured out back for a few short runs...much better but couldn't string an NM together due to holes.

Didn't really get any runs off the wind.

Nice to get out...plenty of the team out. Glenno, hope the leg is OK mate.

Spent the whole day between the banks with lots of gibing practice.

Only caught a little weed, otherwise a great fun day except for the very gusty conditions.

Had a pretty good sail until I was catapluted by a mat of weed - started the fear factor so did not try too hard from there on.

Futura 122, 7.0m Lightning, 40cm Drake

A collective conspiracy got me on the 7.0m and it paid off.  Some interesting gusts out the back and some good long runs. 

Exocet Cross 104L with 6.4M KA Koncept & 32cm LE Weedy

Changed to the F2 Vento 96L after about the first hour & picked up a couple of Knots.

Best speeds were out the back & the Alpha was on the 104

Gusty as today but the closest to a summer sea breaze so far this season

I wondered where Glenno got to, hope it's all good mate.

Leighton, RRd 112 / 90 ReflexII 7.0, 40 canefire / 32 leading edge. Fun to get back in the ocean, took awhile to settle in with chop but good fun sailing with Ado and Issac.

Futura 111, Lightning 6.4 & 30 Weedie - Nothing really clicked today (except some backs!!) and the low tide, weed forrests and a full carpark made for some interesting sailing... Didn't risk the sandbar to start with, so headed downwind to hide from the crowd, but then it got more crowded and down wind even filled up. Bugger it lets try the sandbar! Charged across (hooked in!), dodged the weed islands and made it through. Shame the guys that followed didn't exactly have the same luck. No downwinders today but the fastest run was crossing the bar, just above the posts. Not liking the 30 in this combo, but I'm fairly certain 32 would of hit the bottom..
