First time I've tried La Perouse in a Southerly and it wasn't that great - the combination of swell coming through the heads plus wind chop made it like sailing over moguls the whole time. So I went over to Sandringham and had a little go there - after Mike's performances the Bay seems somehow smaller... Really felt the difference moving down to a wave sail - very hard to get any speed up, even on the flater water at Sandringham. | ||||||||||||||||||
