Strange session. Arrived early, but Jacques was even more early, and on the water already. Checking the conditions, I noticed I had trouble walking against the wind, so that should be around 30 knots, I thought. So picked smallest gear, Missile and 5.0. When entering the water, the wind dropped already a little, but I reconed that would be temporarily, but no.... So the first 45 minutes I did nothing but swim. Went back and changed to 5.8 and 61cm speedslalom. Better choice ! Too bad I could only do 4 good runs, otherwise this would have been a personal top 5, no it is only the seventh....  Reason only for runs could be done, was the dying wind..

Didn't believe in record breaking conditions on the various high speed courses so went to good old Herkingen very early today to catch some wind and to fine tune the new Speed 50.

Hopefully next week one very fast speed session somewere to end 2011 in a good way.

Nice session in the north with Gerlof. New spot for me so didn't really feel safe was lucky Gerlof could guide me thanks mate. Had a bit off bad luck today next time will be better but still happy with the result. Glad we decided to go back on time because the wind dropped a lot when we got back
