Sandringham about 18 knots SSW some strong squall gusts

So patchy today, the wind was up and down, and swinging 30 degrees. Really tough going, then the rain squalls came in and it picked up to 25 knots. I was running down the strip, blinded with rain soaked sunnies at 33 knots. Not ideal...

Lake epicly fantastic , NSW, AU

up at 4 am had a date with Keef to have a look for some new speed spots down south 

all charts north south and metro looked terrible i stayed home till 530 pacing should i mmm funk it I'm going down 4 kn ? wt!! 

bom was saying it still had strong wind warnings for south coast till i got half way down the highway then they canceld it ;-( 

got to the bottom of the gong hill and there was a breeze and a call from keef "ITS 20 KN on the bank !! " 

rigged 6.7 falcon and the ever impressive spweedy 26 had a look at the lake and it looked soo flat i thought someone had filled it with concrete 

then keef said hope ya packed a packed lunch cos the walk out is going to be massive and it was no water or very little. 

wind stayed around 18 kn from the south so headed across the lake not usually my idea of sailing in 3 foot chop but u know what I had a ball !! 

stoked with my NM in that lumpy goodness ;-) great bare off all the way down !!

came in with a 31kn run with a big grin so much fun jybing and jumping.

the afternoon sech was quiet at first then it vcame in so took the speed gear out but ended up swimming no fun 

changed back to falcon as soon as i did 2 runs it started honking found myself 12 inces of water in between two massive weed banks and hey presto the

best speed canal I have ever sailed wind stayed in for 30 mins at 20-25 that finished me off nicely 

epic day with keef hurting ;-) and a great chat with anabil on a ll things speed 

top day !! must sleep

Quick run down at st gerge yaght club before wind died - was blowing about 15 with occasioanl 20ish gust.

JP supersport 120 - supersport 50 cm fin - RS slalom mk IV 7.8  - damn this is one nice sail - planes comfortably at 15 knots and is very easy to hold onto thru the gusts.
