Sausage (22853km): ![]() iS97, 7.8 Loft Blade, 37 KA Sl- Lammermoor Beach, QLD, AU Wind E 11 - 18knots First sail for 20 12. Started out okay but progressively died. Tried the 37 KA Slalom fin in lieu of the 40 Talon and it felt really nice. Only let go when the wind died right off. Got to sail between the fleet of Cherubs battling it out for National honours.
Kel (37601km): ![]() Green Island Looked like a dud day when i made it to the beach this morning, only about 10 Kts on the water, but then a nice little storm came through, so grabbed my trusty 96 Isonic and 7.3 hit the water. Only managed 2 runs and it dropped off again, still managed to get a 32 peak so was happy. Back on the beach i found the delaminated bottom was now also made worse by a 500mm crack along the rail with the foam and skin sticking out 30mm.(no wonder it felt draggy!) RIP Trusty old friend! The wind set back in after another 1/2 Hr so i borrowed Toody's 121 and had a blast. I love this board! On another little storm front i managed to get a 33Knt peak in the choppy mid tide run, its amazing how much control you get from such a wide board. After lunch the wind was more consistent so had half an hr on my CL 50 and pushed my peak up a little before the wind died. Great fun day in the end in paradise! Isonic 96,Venom 34. Isonic 121, select 43. Cl 50, venom 30 all with Switchblade 7.3

Heaps of east in the wind today, up and down and swinging around. Was on 7.5 for the first hour or so then went to 5.8 and was overpowered in some of the gusts! Too rough and gusty for me to go fast. Still, better than being at work!
