7.5 NCX 121 Isonic 42 Nitro 14-18 knts  Green Island, QLD, AU

First outing with the 42 Nitro,

Feels really fast through jybes and carried speed right to fliping the sail, this fin is going to get good alpha's.

It did want to let go a few times when under powered lucky its kind enough to give plenty of warning so could be kept in control.

There were a few gusts that came through and got the fin powered up nicly alowing the 121 to do what it does best and fly across the top of the chop... Great Fun !!

Can't wait to get it on the speed run and chase Kelly's 33 knt 121 Isonic 2 sec peak.

Hey Bob,Happy birthday for the outher day..Was just talking to 'Fast Freddie' and he said that you where going to sell your Future and get a' JP Excite'.. I am not a real fan of JP boards i think they are a bit to high tech for me.. I sailed them a lot in Fiji last year.I found the 138 and145 lt JPs, the best to sail, very user friendly in every way, only used big rigs on them,7 or 7.5 niel pryde sails..Raced a couple of hot shot sailors from Melbone and a couple from NZ.They where on the Super Sports,The 138lt Excite was either in front of them or right on there tail the whole time, when it got real choppy i could stay with them but in the flatter water they quiet often came of second best..not sure what they would be like with smaller rigs on them..All i know is i had a lot of fun on them..So if you want my thoughts on JP excits,i give them the' thumbs up' in every way..May the' wind Gods' be kind to us all this year..Cheers Ed..
