Tiring session at Sandringham with Craig and later on Ken. Early start for me (and Craig had already been there an hour when I turned up), since the SB forecast had the southerly arriving then rapidly dying from 8am. I needn't have worried though as the wind charts have shown pretty much the same thing for the past 12 hours. It was very up and down and super-strong out in the channel, and I wore myself out hanging on through the gusts well before the sandbar appeared at 11. By then I was having to take a break after every run and not feeling full of confidence going down the run, so didn't push it too hard. Nice to get through 30 for the first time in 2012 though. | ||||||||||||||||||
