Westerly to start with, sailed over to melville for a while, pretty average over there so back to PP.
Something didn't feel right all day, board was sticky and not responding to gust. moved mastfoot back, boom up every thing to free the board, nothing really worked. Said as much to Troutty and as soon as I hoped in the car to drive home the light bulb went off, NOT ENOUGH DOWNHAUL. IDIOT. everytime gust hit board was getting pushed down by heavy sail that wasn't exhausting properly. must be it and will know next time.

Diablo (2024km):
5260 days ago A late sail trying to catch what was left of the breeze (not much) in my desperation to give the Koncept 7.5 a try. Thanks to Scotty and Paul for the rigging help.
Caught a few gusts, sail felt light and helped power through the many lulls. Can't wait to try it in a bit more wind. Also tried a fibre washer in the vent plug to eradicate the leaking past the o-ring. No water evident yet (fingers crossed).
Switch to Koncepts has generated discssion of a new nickname (mostly complimentary) but I'll stick with Diablo until I beat the 2sec pb with a Koncept
