Half a bottle of anti depressants won't be enough to counter the fun I had today. 5-25 knots E-ESE

Exocet RS Formula, Mauisails TR4 10.0, VMG M75 - Wind ESE 10-12 kts

Pulbah Island Marathon which turned into a Belmont to Wangi mini-marathon for me!   Wind was reasonable at the start so went conservative by rigging the 10.0 and planed across the line.  Great start but all went downhill from there.  Planed half a dozen times on the way to Wangi, then had a look at the top end of Pulbah and decided I didnt want to go all the way down there underpowered.  So turned around and headed back to Belmont, only to get some good breeze and be powered up the whole way back!

In hindsight though it was the right move - about 15 minutes after I got back to shore, THAT squall come through.  Solid 20-25 kts for about 10 minutes, and pelting rain.  Happy to be sitting under the big tree on the beach watching it all happen, glad to see everyone made it back safely.

I'll get you next time Pulbah.
