What difference a day makes

Went out with a headache and some neurofin rattling around in my stomach trying to do their thang, came back in still with the headache but a big f******smile on my face.

Just went out for a bit of a grind at a square hour, had coordination rpoblems with a lot of my gybes but overall it was fun, couldn't be buggered faffing around with settings just plugged it all together quick adjustable out haul tweek on the fly and that was it.

6.0 on the 53 with the 25cm 30deg. Another play in alpha land with hardie. pleased with some of my gybes, much better than yesterday, but I've still got to get the new gybe marker sorted, had a 23 @ 51m, must have been pushing the boundaries a bit too close.

Still couldn't crack 30, but I didn't let it worry me today!

It was a very bumpy beaver this afternoon, I initially rigged the 6.2 as it felt like there was enough, i did plane with it but had to work and wait a fair bit to do it

So I rigged the 7, tied the 6.2 to a post and put the Vector Delta 25 in the board, I then went back out and gathered all the weedy in Safety Bay and moved it up into the corner until the board could move no more, turned around and gathered some more weed and dragged it back to the beach to change to the trusty old Finworks

Had a good time after that bouncing down the run, did a couple of sound alphas on the 50 which is rare for me and finished the day with a good alpha in the corner which is a PB for me on that board

looked stronger than it was. Never really got powered up. Nice short blast after work.

Safety Bay, 6.1 code red, iso 76, LE 27 & Delta 25 / 23

Heart wasn't in it today. Same conditions as yesterday, but maybe 1 knot less. Too much weed for the delta so tried the 23 delta weed. Totally different fin. Didn't like it, performance nowhere near the new delta speed. Tried 2 NM runs but hit holes in the wind half way and a big ball of weed (nearly over the handlebars) and straight into a spin out.
