Just a bit of rain and no wind when we arriveed at the lake but the rain blew away and the wind came back maybe a bit stonger than yesterday. So I decided to give my 80L a sail as I had forgotten what a good board it is. Good fun sail with Anne & Chris

A very enjoyable until the end when the wind lightened off. I couldn't get going but Greg was still zooming around on his 80L. I guess its my own fault I should have changed up to the bigger board but I was too lazy.

I had to go in before Greg and Anne because my hands were a bit sore after all these great sails we have been having lately. Some very big gusts . Lots of fun

Well, Raggy's pretty pleased with himself. After teasing me out on the 5.8 earlier in the day and then backing off again, the wind decided to come in hard after about 4pm. By this time the 6.5 seemed a good sail to be on, and it was, the wind steadily building until by the end I had some real work on my hands. Had some great bear offs in the waves heading back into the boat ramp and I was pleased to get over 26 knots doing that, which is a PB for Queens. Extra specially pleased however to break the 18kt Alpha barrier at Queens, and by a healthy margin. I had hoped to be able to do that before I have to leave for NZ so I'm stoked. Like the 2 sec, it’s not a PB, but it’s a PB for Queens.
Also really amazed by the Rapidfire 6.5. It seems to have enormous range and is really stable when over powered. Shame it's just about worn out. Hopefully the new Ezzy Cheetah 6.5 that will arrive next week will be as good.
Time to make a pizza now and have a quiet lie down on the couch; Raggy's tired.
ExoCross104, EzzyWP5.8 then RF6.5, Choco34.
