CR 8.1; RRD X-F 122; Choco FB 42 @ Melville

Started out very inconsistent and choppy with boat traffic + high tide. The water flattened out later and though the breeze was still up & down it made for a pleasant session. Managed to hook into a couple of short punchy gusts over the bank. A number of the team out...good to see Jay & the Kombi of lowness... all in all ...fun!

Futura 111, OD8.5 & CF 40/38 - It was light when I rigged and at least I thought the 8.5 would bring the wind in.  The combo never really felt right today and the 40 was trying to kill me! Every upwind run it was railing up and spat me off on one run! Much better with the 38 and things started to come together, though the gusts were still fun on the 8.5. OK Borgy, maybe I should of rigged th 7.8!

Woodies to Nth Cott. New RRD 114 V4 Xfire ( sweet) ReflexIII  7.8,  44 Canefire.  LOC training ( peaking too late). Did a little downwinder from Woodies to North Cott with Matt Dave and nearly Steve. Not Alot of wind but alot of fun. Also alot of weed around south beach to harbour mouth. 

The new board was so comfortable yet powerful enough to point deep or or high upwind.  This could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

Exocet Cross 104L with 7.5M T-bird & testing a 34 EX Vector

The fin felt good & slippery but too small for that combo.

Came in & plugged the 38 Vector which felt better, not faster but stopped the slippage

Nice cruizy arvo sail testing fins & harness line positions, hmmmmmmmm a bit more wind would have been nice
